Singer/songwriter
Ce Ce Rogers produced his self-titled 1990 Atlantic album with some assistance from house music pioneer
Marshall Jefferson. The first single, "Forever," co-written by
Rogers and Jefferson, features a smooth vitality highlighted by a catchy horns riff. The 12" version featured extended, mellow, and radio mixes. The duo's other collaboration, the sparse second single "Someday," proved to be a dance club favorite.
Rogers proves that he's adapt at ballads, as witnessed on the smooth third single "Lonely Girl," "I Need You," and the heart-tugging "I Found Someone." ~ Ed Hogan
