This is an obscure LP, a duet set featuring violinist
Stephane Grappelli and guitarist
Bucky Pizzarelli. It thus far has only been put out by the French Ahead label. The music, however, is quite rewarding and not as ballad-oriented as one might expect from the instrumentation. Highlights include "Tangerine," "Alabamy Bound," "Have You Met Miss Jones" and "Black Bottom." Even on songs that he had already played countless times,
