The Confusions' sophomore effort deftly straddles the line between the confectionary Swedish pop of bands like
the Cardigans (whose Peter Svensson assumes production duties here) and a lo-fi, vaguely psychedelic sound closer in spirit to British trad-rock; the result is a consistently refreshing and winning record. Highlighted tracks including "Alicia and the Silver Stranger," "Cornflake King" and the bouncy "The World Outside Your Window." ~ Jason Ankeny
