Fiddler's Hall of Fame is an excellent 28-track collection that spotlights some of the finest fiddlers in country and bluegrass music, including
Chubby Wise, Buddy Spicher and
Johnny Gimble, as well as lesser-known (but nearly as good) names like Ramona Jones, Paul Warren and Fiddlin' Red Herr. Some of the tunes are more familiar than others, but the playing throughout the entire record is simply astonishing. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
