By 2008’s FOREVER, the long-standing Belgian techno-pop force Milk Inc. consisted of the trio of vocalist Linda Mertens, keyboardist/producer Regi Penxten, and producer Filip Vandeuren. Never your typical canned Euro dance band, Milk Inc. separated themselves from the crowd with relatively complex lyrics and darkly intricate love songs. Tracks like "Race" and "Waste of Time" balance the neurotic and the catchy, and with the emotive Mertens on the mic, they take on a rich character.
