Mentre Tutto Scorre is Negramaro's breakthrough album, the one that fulfilled the promise of their early work and established them as the leading Italian rock band of their generation. Expertly produced by Corrado Rustici, this record defines Negramaro's sound and identity, an intense mixture of electronica, abrasive guitars, string and piano sections, and the Italian melodic tradition, focused around the mercurial personality of singer and lyricist Giuliano Sangiorgi. A resounding critical and commercial success, Mentre Tutto Scorre earned several awards and introduced many of the band's early hits such as "Mentre Tutto Scorre," "Nella Mia Stanza," "Estate," and "Solo3min," as well as an impressive cover of Mogol's 1967 classic "L'Immensità." The Special Edition adds a DVD of a September 2005 concert in Bologna.
