As compilations go, this 14-track
Indigo Girls set in the Sony Playlist series is about as good as a single disc gets. It is perfectly assembled for the iPod generation in that it not only contains the duo's biggest tracks, but identifies the albums they came from right on the back sleeve (and speaking of sleeves, this set is utterly eco-friendly). Included with the 14-song set is a CD-ROM-only selection that has photos, video, and lyrics -- all for a very fair budget price. The biggest pluses here are, of course, "Closer to Fine," "Become You," "Power of Two," and "Galileo," with an added plus being their own very different but passionate rendition of the soul classic made famous by
Gladys Knight, "Midnight Train to Georgia." This is a welcome addition to this series, and a sound investment for fan and novice alike.
