Cláudia Telles is the daughter of Sylvinha Telles, a bossa nova singer who achieved prominence in Brazil before her premature death in a car accident in 1966. In this album, Cláudia, an OK singer, pays tribute to her mother, interpreting songs Sylvinha had recorded with great success. Both singers meet each other in a posthumous duet on two tracks. The repertoire is entirely composed of bossa nova classics, such as "Lobo Bobo," "Discussão," "A Felicidade," "Dindi," "Por Causa de Você," among others. The arrangements are pretty much retro. Trying to recover those times' atmosphere, they sound dated in the end. For bossa lovers only.
