Pianist Benjamin Grosvenor made history when, at just 18 years of age, he became the first British pianist signed to Decca in over half a century. This hastily-recorded follow-up to
his 2011 debut album, on which he tackled the awesomely challenging repertoire of Chopin, Liszt and Ravel with aplomb, sees him taking on somewhat lighter fare in the shape of George Gershwin's ever-popular, jazz-tinged "Rhapsody in Blue", as well as pieces by Ravel and Saint-Saëns.
