Same Girl, the 1987 Star Song release from singer and songwriter
Twila Paris, is characteristic of her work during the mid- to late 1980s. She carefully blends a combination of inspirational CCM and praise and worship to create a project that contains its upbeat moments, yet doesn't quite fit the CCM or adult contemporary mold. While the album features notable songs such as "Bonded Together," "Prince of Peace," and "Throne Room Suite," the project is not as strong as her 1985 release
Kingdom Seekers or her 1988 album
For Every Heart. ~ Ashleigh Kittle
