Marty Gold's second entry in the Stereo Action series scores film music for channel switching. While the intended effect may be as three-dimensional and wide as Cinerama, the music remains orchestral easy listening. The tunes are unexciting, except for "The 3rd Man Theme" and "The High and the Mighty"; even these are unexceptional treatments. "The High and the Mighty" does feature abstract (wordless) female voice, however. As the Stereo Action series goes,
Stereo Action Goes Hollywood is solidly borderline average.
