Dieselboy puts his substantial skill to work proving that both propositions are wrong on this sumptuously packaged, two-disc set. Whether you end up agreeing with his argument will depend mainly on how you felt about both the game and the music to begin with. One thing is clear, though:
Dieselboy is still the class of American drum'n'bass, and his unique remixing style brings out the best in just about any trance, techno, or jungle artist. If you find the role-playing game theme annoying, it's easy enough to ignore;
Dieselboy's diamond-hard breaks and creative manipulations will quickly absorb all your attention. Highlight tracks include his mix of Raiden's eerie "Infection" and of
Dumonde's "Human," as well as a crazy mash-up based on
Wink's "Evil Acid." The bonus EP includes six previously released selections from
