Corizonas is the result of the spontaneous union of
Los Coronas and
Arizona Baby during a joint tour by both bands, commemorated in 2010's live album Dos Bandas y un Destino.
The News Today, however, is an entire album of original material, rather than the glorified covers party the concerts were. Both bands share an unabashed love for '60s and '70s American music, and seamlessly exhibit their credentials as fine rock revivalists in this hodgepodge of Southern rock, surf, classic and alt-country, and folk, all sung in English. ~ Mariano Prunes
