Thori e Rocce is the brainchild of noted hip-hop producers Don Joe and Shablo. The duo, who had previously collaborated in some Club Dogo releases, summon no less than 35 guest artists, established rappers and newcomers alike, to contribute vocals to the tracks. Album opener and manifesto "Le Leggende Non Muoiono Mai," for instance, features MCs Fabri Fibra, Marracash, Jake La Furia, Guè Pequeno, and J.Ax, as well as rocker Francesco Sarcina from Le Vibrazioni. An unprecedented effort designed to offer a comprehensive portrait of the contemporary Italian hip-hop scene.
