For the past two years, Latin trap kingpin Bad Bunny has virtually owned a place on the singles charts. His dozens of collaborations -- such as his show-stealing verses on Cardi B's "I Like It," among dozens of examples -- paved the way for X 100PRE, his debut long-player. Produced largely by reggaeton kingpin Tainy, the set kicks both Latin pop, urbano, and trap paradigms in the teeth with mad sonics, and crush collisions of tropical, hip-hop, electro, and militant dembow all commingle and clash while furthering the gospel of Latin trap he's been mining since his SoundCloud days. Highlights on the set include collaborative numbers such as single "MIA" with Drake, "200 MPH" with Diplo, and "La Romana" with El Alfa. The real gems here though include the hidden Ricky Martin collab on "Caro," the garagey pop-punk of "Ternemos Que Hablar," and the sonically adventurous trap ballad "Estamos Bien."
