You Have to Win Zweikampf is an album comprised entirely of songs about soccer. The album was a fantastic success, peaking at number two on the German album chart and yielding the group’s first number one single, “’54, ’74, ’90, 2006,” a song that celebrated Germany’s past successes in the World Cup and served as a battle cry during the German national team’s run at the 2006 World Cup, which was ultimately unsuccessful. ~ Gregory McIntosh
