Here's another gorgeous recording from a consistently fine band, this one made in 1982.
Magnum was an example of having it all: good solos, good singers, all buoyed up by a killer rhythm section and horns that cook consistently. And along with the tightness and joy was the humor the new young bands are missing: a humor that allowed the lead guitarist to build a fine solo from a mix of "Alone Again, Naturally" and some great Nashville fills.
