His first studio album since 2015's The Hill, gospel singer/guitarist
Travis Greene recorded his fifth long-player,
Broken Record, live in the studio with a backing band that included singers
D'Nar Young,
Taylor Poole, and
Trinity Anderson. Each one of them is featured in turn as well as in group harmonies on the track "Respond."
Greene is also joined on one song, the Top Ten gospel hit "Good and Love," by contemporary Christian recording artist
Steffany Gretzinger (
Bethel Music). Elsewhere,
Greene's soulful rasp leads a varied set of lively and more sentimental fare highlighted by the effervescent "Great Jehovah." ~ Marcy Donelson
