Titled after the artist's last name,
Chilombo is the third album by Jhené Aiko. Recorded in Hawaii in partially extemporaneous and mostly organic fashion, it's a lazing, sprawling, and reflective set with the odd hot-blooded (or volcanic) moment such as "Triggered (Freestyle)." Appearances are made by the likes of H.E.R., Future, and Miguel, as well as Aiko's father (aka Dr. Chill). The album is further distinguished by the calming vibrational sounds of singing bowls.
