Listening to
Do You Think About Me? is like riding a mechanical bull. It doesn't last very long, but it makes you hold on for dear life. Clocking in at just over 30 minutes,
Do You Think About Me? features the
the Waco Brothers' exhilarating and indescribable hybrid of country and punk. Some of the tracks on the album remain from their previous acclaimed albums,
To the Last Dead Cowboy and
Cowboy in Flames, but they don't feel like refried leftovers. "South Bend" and "Got to Be Someone" sound like tributes to
Keith Richards. The group also pay homage to
the Clash in their blistering cover version
Neil Young's "Revolution Blues." Lest you think the group is forgetting its country roots, they pull out quaint ditties like the steel-pedaled "Hard Times" and "Arizona Rose." The result is an album that's impossible to classify. Whatever it is, if you're going to listen to it, make sure to hold on to something that's bolted to the floor.
