During the course of 1977,
the Boys of the Lough cut tracks in a variety of locations ranging from Dublin, Ireland to Ferrisburg, Vermont, these widespread recording dates being determined by the desire to create an album featuring both a variety of guests and a broad variety of Celtic-influenced music. The result has a musical range that reaches from Irish country pubs to Acadia and Louisiana. The 1997 reissue provides the album with a clarity that is highly beneficial to its entertainment value. ~ Steven McDonald
