One of the few white vocal groups to see success on both the pop and R&B charts during the doo wop era,
the Fleetwoods had a three-year run as a group, beginning with their first hit, 1959's "Come Softly to Me" and ending with 1961's "Tragedy," both of which are included in this 12-cut collection, as well as the group's third single, "Mr. Blue," which charted number one on the pop charts and number five on the R&B charts late in 1959. Everything absolutely essential is here.
