The Hi-Lo's' first album was a solid showcase for the group's complex four-part harmonies, singing mainstream pop material set to jazzy, at times mildly swinging instrumental arrangements. Listen to the Hi-Lo's, though all of them are more or less in line with the kind of material penned for mid-20th century romantic musicals and stage productions.
