While there is no easy way to substantiate the claim that listening to Mozart will boost your brain power, anyone looking simply for the pleasure of listening to the music for its own sake will find here a broad assortment of selections from some of the composer's best-known works. The collection doesn't seem to have been put together with a great deal of care; there are two tracks of the Adagio from the Piano Concerto No. 23, for instance, and several complete works have their movements separated by other random pieces. The performances themselves are fine though, and should appeal to casual listeners who aren't concerned with details such as the names of the performers. (The London Festival Orchestra, with no conductor mentioned, is credited on all the tracks, even the vocal ones.) The collection includes a variety of genres such as symphony, concerto, choral, chamber music, keyboard, and opera.
