Kim Waters' 2013 studio album, My Loves, features more of the smooth jazz saxophonist, arranger, composer, and producer's sophisticated and romantic music. As the title implies, My Loves finds Waters exploring the ways in which he feels love in his life. And it's not just romantic love, as the title track is dedicated to his two daughters -- Kayla and Kimberly. This time around, Waters delves into a variety of styles from funky R&B to light pop, and even some orchestral flamenco. Also included are several guest vocal spots with Glenn Jones on "I Wanna Love You," and Waters' wife, Dana Pope, reinterpreting the R&B classic "Loving You." These are in the pocket, groove-oriented, instrumental pop and jazz songs that should appeal longtime Waters fans.
