This ten-track album, dating from 1987, is another delightful beach music collection, featuring beautifully brought-off classic R&B. Whether
Band of Oz are doing stomping shouters like "Baby Work Out," slow ballads like "Snap Your Fingers," or soaring melodic dance numbers like "Heaven in the Afternoon," this edition of the band has the range to pull it all off. This particular record (released on CD at the end of the 1990s) also has the group's signature tune, "Over the Rainbow," as its big finish. The singing and playing are seamless, and as finely wrought as any pop records of the period. For anyone who hasn't ever sampled beach music, this is a great place to start -- and, as with any truly great pop record, it will always leave the listener wanting more.
