Sony/Legacy's 2009
Playlist rounds up the bulk of
Babyface's big '90s hits -- "Whip Appeal," "For the Cool in You," "Never Keep Secrets," "When Can I See You," "Every Time I Close My Eyes" -- adding a couple of good album tracks and his versions of "End of the Road" and "I'll Make Love to You," two hits he penned for
Boyz II Men, for good measure. While some may miss his earliest hits "It's No Crime" and "Tender Lover," this remains a good overview of his peak as a hitmaker.
