A native of Cleveland, OH, Michael Geraci was a member of the rock group the Outsiders and played baritone on their 1966 hit "Time Won't Let Me." Stints in Las Vegas lounges followed after the group's breakup. Returning to Cleveland,
Geraci made this his first album. Just 30 minutes in length,
Geraci plays a sugary, soulful ballad tenor on top of dubbed in strings and rhythm section. While his playing is passable, the setting puts this album one short cut above muzak and a candidate for easy listening or music of your life radio stations. It is also acceptable as dinner music, if the volume is not turned up too high and assuming one is willing to pay the CD tariff for only a half hour of music. Hopefully for his next album,
Geraci's talent will be put to greater tests than it is here. ~ Dave Nathan
