Most of the artists on Big Baller/Epic's
South Coast Ballers sampler are from South Florida, and everyone on the Big Baller label roster makes an appearance here; popping up most frequently -- whether on their own cuts or as guests on someone else's -- are the M.IN.T. Squad, Live Luciano, Po Boy and
King James. It's mostly Southern gangsta rap with lower-budget production; nothing really stands out as original (the M.IN.T. Squad in particular seem very influenced by 2Pac), but Live Luciano and Lady Dice show some potential for the future.
