Well, considering
Jimmy Boyd's recording career essentially lasted from 1953 (when he was 12) to 1967, this is quite a best-of. Here are all the youngster's big smash hits, from "Dennis the Menace" with
Rosemary Clooney, to his duets with
Frankie Laine including, "The Little Boy and the Old Man," "Poor Little Piggy Bank," "Tell Me a Story," and much, much more. Included in the package are the previously unreleased "I'm Glad I'm Not" and, of course, "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" (over 60 million copies sold). For
Jimmy Boyd fans, this may not be the be-all and end-all, but there is more than enough here for anyone interested in checking out what the fuss was about in the early '50s (and it was quite a ruckus).
