Money Records rushed this derivative album out to capitalize on the country-sweeping success of "The Jerk," a falsetto plea to do a popular dance. Nearly every song has "jerk" in the title and sounds like the hit. There's "Mickey's East Coast Jerk," "Do the Jerk," "Soul Jerk," "Jerk Once More," and "Jerkin' USA." The only non-jerk titles are "Slauson Shuffle," a dance that never escaped the Watts area of Los Angeles and "You Must Believe Me," a creamy remake of
the Impressions' song. Give this one a low number for redundancy.
