Featuring 35 tracks on one disc, The Last Great Rockabilly Saturday Night Volume 2 is packed with rarities and obscurities for the rockabilly aficionado. Some of the artists here will be recognized by fans of the genre, and many tracks are previously unreleased recordings or alternate takes. A few of the better-known artists include Sonny Burgess, Carl Mann, Johnny Carroll, Eddie Bond, Glen Glenn, and Charlie Feathers. Others may be unknown to even serious rockabilly enthusiasts. The eight-page booklet provides notes and brief information for each track, in addition to a few vintage photos.
