3 Na Massa

Intrigued by the vast emotional landscape of women and their amorous adventures, the three members of 3 Na Massa invited 13 of their favorite Brazilian singers to participate on an album of sex-centric songs. The group was particularly inspired by Serge Gainsbourg's '60s and '70s oeuvre and the erotic comics of Italian artist Milo Manara, and they see the album as a kind of soundtrack to Manara's work. Featuring Pupillo and Sucinto Silva of Nacao Zumbi and producer Rica Amabis of Instituto, 3 Na Massa's slippery mixture of bossa nova, trip-hop and MPB gained an instant underground fan base.
