Influenced by the popular Banda Sinaloense, northern California's 16-piece Banda Salvatierra play spirited music with a huge sound. They debuted their brassy banda music in 2002 with Esta Noche Tu Vendras on the Arhoolie label. Asi Es la Vida followed three years later. ~ David Jeffries
