Canard

Canard Isaiah Lee (born February 22, 2000) is an American singer, songwriter, and producer. Born and raised in Bowie, Maryland, Canard has written and performed music since the age of seven. He made his debut in July 2021 with his single, "Sunday." A soulful mid-tempo track that masterfully tells the tale of two lovebirds, while including elements of live guitar, piano, and bass that give the song a nostalgic feel. On December 21st, he followed it with his self-produced single, "Ah!" In May 2022, Canard released his first project, Needle & Thread, an EP written by the artist infused with R&B, Jazz, Rock, and Funk. Needle & Thread defies the norms of popular music with its constant detours in direction to lead listeners to a musical experience reminiscent of the 60s and the 70s. The EP compiles gut-wrenching lyrics and vocal melodies sure to invoke intense emotion in people. Canard describes the project as a dramatic portrayal of love, loss, and self-discovery. To date, Canard has performed at Rams Head On Stage and Union Jack’s Annapolis.
