Clavette

Hailing from Milwaukee, WI, Jake Clavette, aka clavette, has been working in music for the better half of a decade. Relocating to Los Angeles in 2014, Jake attended the famed Icon Collective College of Music, which has produced the careers of Rinzin, Dillon Nathanial, Redux Saints, Anakim, Thomas Garcia, 28MM, and many more. Following graduation, Jake interned with Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Richard Vission, who amongst his many accolades as a producer, also runs the longest running mix show in the US, “Powertools,” on radio station Power106 FM in Los Angeles. 2019 served to be a big milestone year for clavette, as he secured his first artist placement with Scooter Braun signee, Baby Jake. “Cigarettes on Patios” was written by clavette, songwriter and producer Shayon, and super-producer DVLP, who has worked with artists such as Lil Wayne, Eminem, Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, and J. Balvin. Currently, “Cigarettes on Patios” has been streamed over 14+ million times on Spotify and has been featured in countless editorial playlists, including the number one spot on New Music Friday in the United States when it was released. In 2020, Jake launched the house music project, clavette. Jumping headfirst into the house music scene in LA, Jake joined with the Los Angeles Music Project, a 7-year-old music collective, record label, and event company owned and operated by Josh Brooks (DJ PZB) and Alex Slater (Mr. Puzl).
