Das Scheit was founded in 1996 by vocalist and
Marilyn Manson lookalike Clint and bassist, keyboard player, and programmer Sascha, who wanted to merge their interests in goth and hard rock with electronic and industrial music. With guitarists Andrew and Colby soon along for the ride, two albums, 1998's Das Scheit and 2001's ...And Ice Is Forming, were issued to mostly positive reviews across Europe. And after some time off to install the new six-string duo of Casey and George, their third album, Superbitch, finally emerged in 2005, through Black Lotus Records. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
