With one hand in the fierce, calculated Tech-step pie and the other dabbling in deliciously chilled breakbeat, Finger throws down some of the more eclectic breaks in the business. On the harder side, gleaming, glowering effects swoop down on fragile Drum 'n' Bass combos, raising their pulse and their hackles. Once the tunes have their backs up, the intensity is cut only by brilliantly maneuvering voluble bass through the glittering, unrepentant beats. Slipping gently in the back door are a host of casual, bemused effects that tease and attempt to tame the savage beast.
