In Vain is a Spanish metal band consisting of Daniel Cordón, Daniel B. Martín, Teo Seoane and Mario Arredondo. Its initial style was based in melodic heavy metal developed in the 80s by great bands like Iron Maiden, and later they added touches of power, speed and thrash to reach their current style. They have played numerous concerts along great bands as Freedom Call, Astral Doors, Axxis or Steelwing, and have released two demos, Spirit of Earth (2005) and Dawn of Misery (2007), and five full length albums, Of Gods and Men (2009), In Death We Trust (2012), The Little Things That Matter (2014), IV (2017) and All Hope Is Gone (2021). His latest album finally settles the sound that the band has been building throughout their works, with an distinct mix of power, speed and thrash metal and the unanimous recognition of critics and audiences both inside and outside Spain
