João Suplicy

A bright Brazilian pop singer/songwriter and musician, João Suplicy worked on and off as a guitarist and composer for ten years before recording his album debut. Suplicy studied music both in Brazil and Los Angeles; after returning to Brazil, he signed with ST2 Records and recorded Musiqueiro with help from two masters of Brazilian pop, Bid and Toquinho. It was released on ST2 in 2000. ~ John Bush
