Jodie Abacus

Another highly interesting talent from southern London, Jodie Abacus topped Hype Machine earlier this year with his debut single, the future-funky "I'll Be That Friend." Now he’s returned with another gem of electronic R&B, called "Good Feeling." Leaning toward the Brainfeeder school of sound (Flying Lotus, Thundercat) and the golden age sound of Hall & Oates and Stevie Wonder, it sounds as classic as it does futuristic. It's a single so groovy it almost makes you angry there isn't more of Jodie Abacus to share.
