Laura Omloop found fame at the tender age of ten when she represented Belgium in the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Finishing fourth with a rendition of "Zo Verliefd," her homeland's highest-ever placing, she then appeared on the jury the following year, released follow-up single "Stapelgek Op Jou" and debut album Verliefd, and performed the theme tune to animation series YooHoo & Friends. In 2011, she teamed up with Flemish pop singer
Stan Van Samang on the single "Zijn We Alleen," which also appeared on her second studio effort, Wereld Vol Kleuren. ~ Jon O'Brien
