Before taking the road to Nashville, Martin worked in a sawmill, painted houses, and drove trucks. His debut album, Home Is Where the "Honky Tonk" Is, appeared from Rival Records in 1998, followed by Simply Traditional in 2002 on IGO Records and the self-titled Leland Martin on Infinity Nashville in 2005.. ~ Rick Cohoon
