Mic Rob

Mic Rob is a Chicago native, African American rapper, songwriter, record producer, promoter, fashion designer, and entrepreneur who resides in Minneapolis Twin Cities, MN. born July 15th, 1991 (age 27). He has also obtained his B.A in business/ marketing from Augustana University in Sioux Falls South Dakota and unlike most artist out he owns all his masters. Music has always been an important part of his life and has helped him overcome many uphill battles. From growing up in a single-parent household and living in poverty to watching his mother struggle to make ends meet while raising him and his two younger siblings on little to no resources. Seeing this created a never-ending fire, hustle, and work ethic that goes above and beyond your everyday artist. With a unique sound, style and rhythm gained from his irregular heartbeat, he has been able to capture the attention and love of fans of all ages from around the world. His main objective is to give to the world the same peace of mind, joy, and guidance music has given him while striving to change and improve communities and the lives of youth through meaningful music that drives the feet, souls, and creative rhythm in us all. Mic Rob released his first album BTD “Beyond The Dreams” written and produced by Mic Rob himself under his label 3Lab Vision, which he dedicated to his grandmother Cheryl Roberts who passed 2018 born May 10th (1958).
