Mikal Blue

Singer, songwriter, and producer Mikal Blue started playing club dates near his childhood home in Northern England as a teenager before training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. After some solo touring in Europe, he landed in Aspen, Colorado, where a residency at the China Club and first place in a songwriting contest led to his first record deal with Alesis. That deal was the first of many, both as a solo act and through numerous bands and though he never enjoyed wide popular acclaim, his work brought on gigs as a producer, and studio owner. His most notable collaborations include projects with Five For Fighting, Augustana, The Offspring, and Colbie Caillat. His solo single "Gold" was released in the summer of 2007.
