Miss Ko

Miss Ko is a Chinese rapper and hip-hop artist who rose to prominence after the video for her 2014 single 'Selfie Addict' became a viral hit on YouTube garnering several million views.Her confident, sometimes aggressive rap delivery supported by strong backbeats and rhythms have demonstrated to international audiences that Chinese-language rap music is a credible genre within hip-hop and is becoming popular with audiences outside of China. During the past few years she has released a series of tracks which have built up a significant audience of Asian hip-hop fans and her videos for tracks such as 'Pizza' and 'Make It Happen' have built a huge fan base for the singer.Ko's music is a long way from the sanitised world of C-Pop culture and her 2019 album 'Queen of Queens' has established the artist as one of the most exciting hip-hop talents to emerge from China in recent years. © ©Copyright Music Story 2020
