Ray Bady began his career as a drummer and eventually recorded solo work for Gospo Centric after years of industry work. Before his solo recordings,
Bady either drummed or programmed the drums for such successful artists as
Kirk Franklin,
BeBe Winans,
Yolanda Adams,
R. Kelly, and
Marvin Sapp, among others. Yet
Bady could do much more than drum; he also could sing, song write, and produce. In the early 2000s, he signed a deal with Gospo Centric and put his talents to work while recording his solo debut album, Mission K.O.B. (Keep on Believing). He co-wrote many of the album's songs with his brother, gospel legend
Percy Bady, who also co-produced the album. ~ Jason Birchmeier
