Safetalk

Safetalk are an Anglo-French trio featuring Berlin-based British singer David Harks and Parisian producers Thomas Desnoyers and Hugues Tonnet. Making their debut in 2017 with the self-released single 'Universal', their fusion of electronica, psychedelia and pop soon found them tipped by tastemaker sites around the world including the likes of Thump, Vice's Creators platform, Clash, Ransom Note and many more. Buoyed by their initial success the band embarked on their first live shows, supporting the likes of Anoraak, and would release a further 2 singles in 2017, 'Gold of the Highest' and 'Mimic', both of which were again met with widespread acclaim. The songs positive messages lifted up by Harks's soulful vocals and the track's pulsating, intricate electronic rhythms capturing the imagination of fans around the world. Completing this first stage of the band's journey 2018 saw the release of their debut EP, 'Static'. Bringing together their previous singles plus the brand new title track, the EP affirmed the band's desire to never settle for the obvious when the uncharted space where hypnagogic soul collides with psychedelic electronic music and interstellar RnB-inspired rhythms is left to explore.
