Colorado singer/songwriter
Spencer Crandall combines classic country storytelling with modern production elements that draw from myriad pop styles. The Denver native spent his formative years playing football and soaking in the sounds of
Keith Urban,
Justin Timberlake,
Kenny Chesney,
Ed Sheeran, and
Drake. After a shoulder injury ended his sports career,
Crandall began singing and writing songs. He relocated to Nashville in 2016 and quickly amassed a sizeable social media following with the self-released singles "Do It All Again," "I Thought We Broke Up," and "Official." Before long, he was sharing stages with
Chris Lane,
Dustin Lynch,
Tyler Rich, and
Josh Turner. In 2020 he issued a string of well-received independent EPs (North, South, East, and West) and his first full-length effort, Wilderness. The Lost in the Wild EP arrived in 2021, as did the streaming hit "Made." The singles "Red Flag" and "What Do We Do Now?" appeared the following year. ~ James Christopher Monger
