A leading figure in the Quebec rap, Yes Mccan first established himself within the group Dead Obies, accumulating more than 150 shows throughout the Francophonie, in addition to releasing two critically acclaimed albums (the impactful Montreal $ ud and the daring Gesamkunstwerk, sold over 20,000 copies). A creative engine essential to the development of Quebec hip-hop, Yes undertook a solo turn with the promising EP PS Merci pour le love in 2017 and in 2018, with a first album, the inventive OUI (tout, tout, tout, toutttte), released in the wake of the huge success of the Fugueuse (TVA) TV series in which he plays a key role. His recent releases, “In the Skin” in March 2020 and “Panorama” in November 2021, symbolize a breakthrough in an already prolific career.
